#1 Expecting the worst to happen
I tend to describe myself as a ‘worst case scenario thinker.’ It’s the classic ‘hope for the best; prepare for the worst’ mindset, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing; however, when it comes to expectations, it’s a bit of a different story. I wrote an article a while back about the one thing more powerful than positive thinking and in it, we found that our thoughts are the gateway to a lot of outcomes throughout our lives.
