“They keep track of time. Sometimes things happen and you feel that you need to mark them down.”
― Scott O’Connor
There’s a certain stigma that goes along with people who have tattoos. They are thought to be unprofessional, classless, tacky, or dumb. As the years tick by, this perception is beginning to dissipate and body art is becoming more common and expected.
Tattoos do not change who a person is, but the things that do change them may be why they wear the art they do. In a study publically reported by Fox News in 2014, it was noted that over 47% of women under the age of 35 have at least one tattoo. Here are some reasons why you should date those women.
- She’s committed.
She was willing to get permanent markings on her skin so this indicates commitment is not a fear of hers.
- She’s a total badass.
Not only do they look awesome (or so you hope), but she’s clearly sat there with a needle rapidly pounding in and out of her skin for a period of time before.
- She has stories.
She has reasoning behind her body art and that means she has life experiences and a history she was not afraid to document.
- They’re hot.
Tattoos are hot. You don’t think so? She doesn’t care.
- She’s passionate.
She’s passionate about the ink on her skin and the meaning each piece carries.
- She’s unique.
She has body art that no one else does. Each tattoo is unique to her and she wears it in a way no one else identically can.
- She’s open-minded.
She clearly doesn’t follow the norm on what some people think about tattoos and the people that have them. She is proud of hers and she knows that other people have their own reasoning to coincide with their tatts (even if it’s “being young and dumb).
