7 Vices That Are Good For You

I’m currently sober from three different substances — opioids, stimulants, and alcohol — and although it’s been close to 4 years for each, everyday feels like a new version of recovery. For a while, I thought that the feignings would subside as time went on; however, the disappointing reality is that for most of us, they don’t. Some days will be easier than others, but the awareness of relapse potential is imperative. To be honest, it’s overwhelming a lot of the time and most of us are surrounded by others that are able to utilize certain vices responsibly, while it feels our options are limited. So I’ve had to get a bit creative when it comes to replacing the old with the new.

Below are a few more constructive vices that can be implemented instead:
