As we look back on all of the relationships we have ever been in, we realize something… we are completely different people in each relationship, but why is that?
The person you are with oftentimes will dictate the kind of person you are when you are with them.
If they are unkind, filled with drama, and perpetually negative in spirit; chances are, you will begin to be the same way.
It’s almost inevitable.
Being influenced by the person you are with, whether or not it is friends, family, or a significant other, doesn’t make you appear weak.
It makes you normal.
Now, with that being said, it is never okay for the opinion of those from the past to be brought into a present relationship.
The reason being, who your other half was with that person in their past, is never exactly who they are going to be with you.
The energy and the way that person made your partner feel is the reason why they reacted in the way they did.
